Going Solo & Typical Group

We often get calls from people who say to us: "I have been receiving your brochure for years and would love to go on a Tour. But I can't find anyone to go with me!"

We like those calls because we can explain that it is very easy to sign up by yourself and, in fact, 40% of our customers do.

One of the major benefits of a Skate Tour as compared to attempting a skating vacation on your own is the people you meet. Our customers range in age from 12 to 72 and come from all over the US, Europe, and other areas of the world. One uniting bond is the interest in skating and that seems to create a fun, active, and outgoing group.

If you sign up for a Tour by yourself, we will automatically pair you with another skater of your gender for hotel lodging. It is a great way to get to know someone in depth and, if we have an odd number of single skaters, you might get a single room for free! Alternatively, you can always pay a single supplement to have your own room.

So, can you go solo? It is easy. From the moment you meet your group you will feel a part of a family. Our guides are even trained to encourage that. As many skaters tell us: "I joined the Tour alone and came home with great friends for life".
